The Embassy of Argentina and Thailand Guitar Society present: CONCERT OF LATIN MUSIC

The Embassy of Argentina will for the third consecutive year hold a concert of Latin-American music at the Siam City Hotel on November 28 at 7:00 p.m. The event will feature three guitarists, a flutist and a string quartet.

This year the concert will focus on a variety of musical styles, such as baroque Boccherini tunes, classics like "Cinema Paradiso", "Don't Cry for Me Argentina" and "Estrellita", and lively Latin-American and Tango music by Carlos Jobim and Piazzolla.

All musicians will be led by the President of the Thailand Guitar Society, Mr Woratep Rattana-Umpwan. He will be accompanied by the rising international guitar prodigy Ekachai Jearakul, the magical voice of Fuenglada Prawang, the renowned flutist Bantoon Tangpaiboon and a string quartet from Mahidol University.

Through this concert the Embassy of Argentina hopes to promote Latin-American music in Thailand and to expose the musicians to an appreciative and sophisticated audience.
