International Balloon Fiesta 2009, Pattaya, Dec 10-13

The holiday season is upon us as evident by the Christmas trees, festive decorations and neon lights around Bangkok. Meanwhile, Pattaya is marking the merriment with an extravagant hot air balloon festival like nothing you've ever seen before. The fiesta features over 40 hot air balloons from around the world, and there's no limit to the creativity. In the past, balloons have been shaped like an elephant, Coca-cola bottle and even a pair of jeans! Along with the aerial display, other events include a light and sound show, glow-in-the-dark balloons by night, a Miss Balloon 2009 pageant, a theme park and special musical performances. Best of all, the event is free and open to ALL!
