Stefan Willimann
as General Manager
Kamala Sukosol, President of Siam City Hotels & Resorts, announces the appointment of Stefan A. Willimann as the new General Manager of the Siam City Hotel, Bangkok. Mr. Willimann arrives just in time for the opening of the hotel’s newly refurbished Ayuthaya Wing with 176 brand new contemporary Thai style deluxe rooms, all fitted with 4-piece bathrooms.
Mr. Willimann brings to the Siam City over 25 years of valuable experience in the hospitality industry. After finishing Hotel School in Switzerland, he began his international career in Bangkok in 1991 and has since expanded his experience with prominent Asia-Pacific hotel chains in Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and China. His last posting was General Manager of the Equatorial Hotel in Qingdao, P.R.C. “As one of the only Thai style hotels left in Bangkok to offer a five star service experience, I am excited about the great market potential,” said Mr. Willimann, who will play a key role in further establishing the Siam City as a unique Thai brand of world-class quality.
