Siam City Hotel

We were upgraded... we will definitely stay again.

"We booked two deluxe rooms and were fortunate to be upgraded to suites. Luxury on every level and, having seen one of the rooms, would have been more than happy with one as they were extremely large and equally well appointed. Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, with everything we could possibly desire provided as standard. Staff was extremely efficient and helpful and the restaurant was first class. We have stayed in hotels in Bangkok at twice the price and been less satisfied. Will definitely stay again."

I have now stayed three times and each time it has lived up to standard...

"I have now stayed three times in the past two years at this hotel and each time it has lived up to standard. Staff is very friendly and helpful; the on-site day spa is excellent for massaging the weary muscles of travellers. There are a number of restaurants/cafes in the hotel which offer a good choice and variety of cuisine. The gym is adequately supplied with equipment that all works, and the pool is a reasonable size and pleasant place to relax and swim. There is a 7-11 store next door - great for buying bottled water and changing some of your bigger currency notes. King Power (BKK's major duty free retailer) has just opened a huge store behind this hotel. The location of the hotel is quite good. It is away from the river and all of the tourist traps of that part of BKK city. The skytrain is a 2 minute walk across the road and there is an endless supply of taxis and private car with driver hires available. My wife and I have both had clothing made by a nearby tailor (recommended by the hotel) at competitive cost with excellent quality. The Siam Paragon Department Store and shopping complex is 2 stops on the skytrain or 15-30 minutes away by taxi (depending on traffic). This has excellent food, shopping and an outstanding, world-class aquarium! All the hotel needs now is more non-smoking rooms/floors - there seems to be a greater demand these days for them, and on my last visit, I had to spend my first night in a smoking room - but was moved the next day, once a non-smoking room became available. Heartily recommend this hotel - you will have an excellent stay!"

Great hotel, superb staff and service, and a breakfast to die for

"Great Hotel, the staff in particular the guy who chases the taxis when needed are superb, the service is second to none and a buffet breakfast to die for, can recommend the Thai, Italian and Japanese restraunts that are in-house, Happy hour is good value with good wines at reasonable prices, definately would stay there again can highly recommend this hotel without hesitation"

Highly recommended

"We stayed 9 Nights in the Ayuthaya Wing in a Deluxe Room. Room 718. Rooms Very Clean and well Maintained. Bathroom was very nicely decorated all marble and modern updated tiles. Large extra deep bath tub was great at the end of a long day shopping. Shower had good Water Pressure too. Staff were wonderful. Happy to help with any query and always very polite. A special mention to the girls working at the Bakery Cafe. We loved eating lunch at the bakery and stopping in for a cappacino or ice cold drink. We ordered tuna sandwiches, pizza's. pasta's and club sandwiches from the Bakery and every time enjoyed all our meals for reasonable price. The Patamut Buffet meals were good. Buffet Breakfast catered for all tastes. Very large selection of English, American and Asian breakfast. Dinner Buffet had great selection too and if that did not suite you try ordering direct from the Menu as this also was terrific and not expensive. Staff at the Breakfast and Dinner Buffets were great and nothing was too much trouble. Location was good, the Pakkad Palace is right across the road. 7/11 Store is right next door in case you need cigarettes or more bottled water etc. Bank of Siam is also next door so access to ATM Machine no problems. BTS Skytrain in across the road (leaves every 3 mins) and only two stops to MBK and only a trip on the skytain away from most popular tourist destinations. We simply can not praise this hotel enough. Highly Recommended by us."

"Excellent Hotel. All staff well trained, friendly and efficient."

Beautiful hotel, convenient location... we would definitely stay again.

"This was a beatiful hotel located across the road from the bts station which made it very handy (and cheap)to get to a lot of places without using taxis and tuk tuk. The hotel staff couldn't do enough for us they were all very friendly and accomodating. The hotel was kept in immaculate condition. Breakfast was included in our rate and it was fantastic. We would definately use this hotel again if we were ever in Bangkok."

Location is key

The hotel's location is very key. It is not even a full block away from the sky train. We were able to get everywhere we needed to from the skytrain. The hotel itself, had extremely nice and helpful staff. Everything was very clean. And the breakfast buffet was the best we had on our 2 and a half week tour of Thailand. The pool was very relaxing, and never crowded. There is a 7/11 two doors down, so it is easy to go grab a pop or snack if you don't want to pay for the mini bar items. Only thing that would be concidered a negative, if you want to get picky, is the taxi drivers who pester you for rides every time you walk out of the hotel. We couldn't reach the sidewalk without being asked if we want a ride, and how much do we want it to costs. We plan to return to Thailand, but most likely not to Bangkok. But if we do end up in Bangkok again, we would stay here again for sure.

I will be heading back there again for sure.

The Siam City is an "old style" traditional Thai hotel (similar to the old Intercontinental before they tore it down to build Siam Paragon Mall). The rooms were very comfortable and decorated in Thai style. The staff was pleasant as normal in Thailand, the gymnasium and pool was very nice and the location was great for getting around.

I normally stay in the JW Marriott or Pennisula when in Bangkok. Therefore I was not too sure what to expect of this privately owned hotel, especially as the rate was so low. I was only staying one night so it wasnt going to be an issue. I was pleasantly surprised to find this to be an old style Thai hotel in the vein of the old intercontinental, Sukothai etc. Really nice rooms, nice staff, good location. I will be heading back there again for sure.

Excellent hotel

The Siam City Hotel in Bangkok is an excellent hotel in terms of cleanliness, value for money and friendliness of it's staff. The hotel is located close to the BTS (sky train) making travel around Bangkok very easy. The restaurant in the hotel lobby is well known as providing one of the best continental breakfasts in Bangkok. Overall staying at the Siam City Hotel is a very pleasurable experience and one well worth repeating.

Siam City is a central location to all shopping, train stations and other amenities

The staff was friendly and helpful. The overall of the building was awesome. The pool was not to be missed together with the pianist at the lobby. The train station is just 2mins walk away. The street behind the hotel, which is 5mins away, has got a wonderful seafood restaurant that is tasty and affordable. Massage and clubs are also on this street. Siam City is a central location to all shopping, train stations and other amenities. Great Hotel.

It was pleasing to see they remembered us...

We enjoyed our stay at the Siam City hotel as the staff were very helpful and it was pleasing to see that they remembered us when we returned last Wednesday for a further days stop. One of the best features of the hotel is its entrance and the fact that it is very close to the Skytrain making it easy to get to other sites in Bangkok.

Location is good for business travelers

Overall I liked the hotel. I think it was worth the money. I liked the outdoor swimming pool a lot. The location is good for business traveler, since it is close to everything. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They should offer better selections of western food.

Bob B., Canada

Warm welcome, helpful reception, convenient location, flexible room choice.

We can arrive at every hour of the day or the night and we have a good welcome. The reception desk is helpful and we have the luggage quickly in the room. We can choose a little the location of the room in the hotel. We are at only some meters of the skytrain station.

A nice and clean hotel, staff are friendly and helpful

A nice and clean hotel, staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms come with a LCD TV , and very fast internet. Hotel has many variety of restaurant namely, Thai, chinese, Italian and Japanese restaurant, also include variety of local art and craft. However, it is not very close to the local restaurants in walking distance. From the airport, it takes about 20 minutes by meter taxi, which costs about 250 baht to 300 baht. It is recommendable hotel with a good value of money.

Value for money

Siam City Hotel is value for money, travel desk is very helpful. Food quality within the hotel is above average. Affordable luxury. Well appointed rooms, clean. Friendly Housekeeping staff. Overall a good hotel which I will recommend.

I didn´t pay a lot for the room, but the hotel had a style and flavour of a few more stars...

I'm sure I didn't pay a lot for the room, but the hotel had a style and flavour of a few more stars than I expected. The rooms were very well appointed, calmly modern with a touch of Thai. The staff at the door were fantastic and it seemed there was nothing they couldn't do.

Andrew C., Australia

I came for a conference in the hotel, so that was very convenient.

I came for a conference in the same hotel, so that was very convenient. The restaurant, which is open to the lobby, was a perfect place to have meetings with small groups. Just opposite the hotel is a museum in traditional Thai houses with antiquities. It is also possible to walk over the walking bridge to a nearby market with low cost souvenirs. In Bangkok the traffic is such that it is very important to be able to walk to some places.

Siam Bayview Hotel

This hotel is for people who like the beach life and also shopping...

This hotel is for the young person, who likes the beach life and also shopping. It is a very convenient place for swimming on beach since its easy access to beach. Also closed to Mike Shopping Center, Tiffany Show Place. Easy to find food and also easy to reach public transportation.

Jone J., Indonesia

I have stayed regularly since 2004... the facility and staff continue to improve.

I have stayed at the Siam Bayview Hotel regularly since 2004. It seems that the facility and staff continue to improve. I am especially pleased that the hotel seems to have become friendlier to my guests. I am also very happy with the responsiveness of the housekeeping staff and front desk to my individual needs. My every request was answered promptly and with a smile.

A good mordern hotel with actual sea views...

This is a good modern hotel with actual sea views that is also close to the action. We were given a free upgrade to a sea view room. The lobby and restaurant/ bars were very stylish. The rooms were very bright and airy with a small balcony. The staff as in all Thai hotels I have stayed at could not be faulted. I would stay here again.

John S., Australia

Very clean and comfortable

Overall a highly recommendable hotel. Very clean and good room comfort. very friendly and helpful staff. Every day provided with excellent cookies in the room for free as well as two bottles of water, which I find very nice. The location is close to the beach, to all shopping centers and to the walking street. I like also the very nice and clean pools.

An oasis of peace...

It is not the first time I've stayed at this hotel. Considering how central the location is the grounds are an oasis of peace. I particularly like the layout of the imposing reception area. The staff were always helpful, efficient and polite. The sweeping steps into the enclosed garden and pool area and the plants and flowers I like very much.

Daryl B., United Kingdom

Service was always with a smile and prompt from all levels of the hotel

Great value; the ocean view room I booked looked great on the internet but when I arrived at the hotel it appeared to have been occupied, without any delay I was upgraded to a suite which was amazing for the price I ended paying. The amenities are many, from two choices of pools to massage areas dining and bars. Service was always with a smile and prompt from all levels of the hotel.

Siam Bayshore Hotel

The staff was absolutely wonderful...

"The staff was absolutely wonderful all very polite and English speaking. The hotel was very attentive to the little things housekeeping, inhouse laundry service was a great value as well. The hotel is very clean and tranquil to rest and enjoy. Siam Bay Shore rests on the beach and the end of walking street. Very easy and close to all the restaurants, bars and shopping establishments. Taxis are extremely close you'll never have an issue locating a willing driver to take you anywhere. Many of the popular tourist destinations are easily accessible from walking street along the beach as well. These include jet skis, boating, trips to the island, snorkeling, parasailing etc. A must see attraction for all visitors is the Noon Noch garden and elephant show. You'll never find a better show and more beautiful garden to walk in Thailand. Pattaya offers a safe and relaxing vacation experience. Enjoy your stay in the "Land of Smiles""

Hotel is located at the end of Walking Street...

"Hotel is located at end of Walking Street..some walking distance to markets & shopping malls by day, but great if you appreciate some exercise. Ideally located at night, step right outside your door and the action is there! Bali Hai pier is across the road, take the boat trip to Kho Larn island to discover it's beautiful beaches. Hard to fault this hotel, a wonderful & pleasant stay. "

If want to have a relax vacation, the hotel will be the one...

If want to have a relax vacation, the hotel will be the one. Good location where is quiet, and near the center area of south pattaya. Or to stay in the hotel for enjoying the swimming pool, tennis, gym. I like the breakfast and the restaurant, which eating all sorts of food, and watching beautiful sea view, it is a very good start for one day.

The most amazing hotel that I have ever stayed at

This Hotel was truely the most amazing hotel that I have ever stayed at. The location, food, staff, rooms, and pool were by far the best hands down. I would say that it is both couples friendly as well as family friendly. They have a sliding board and shallow end for the children. The pool on the beach side has an amazing view of the ocean and at night there is music and food. Hopefully this will help you in choosing a hotel in Pattaya Beach, Thailand.

I was diving in Pattaya ...

I was diving in Pattaya and this hotel was convenient and came recommended. That aside I would use this hotel again as I felt very comfortable here. In the hotel there was plenty to do through the day, such as tennis, gym, spa, coffee shop and restaurant. The hotel also had a desk where you could book up tours.

The location of the hotel is good. People are friendly and they help you when needed. I also liked the breakfast, the buffet was rich.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise

Well those who have visited Thailand before know that while it may be the land of smiles, it is not necessarily the land of organised efficiency. This hotel was a pleasant surprise, it feels clean and lavish well organised, the decor is classy without being over the top, the staff make you feel welcome without intruding, and the hotel layout is relieved by open planned areas giving a feeling of space and light, an air of grandeur and style, its provides the customer an opportunity for a night in just to enjoy all the facilities that the hotel has to offer, rather than competing with the often crazy congested streets of Pattayya. I would definitely recommend a stay. A word of warning using the internet in your room can be very expensive, but what the hell you are on holiday.

It keeps getting better.

As a frequesnt business traveller to Thaialnd Im a real fand of Siam Bayshore Pattaya hotel. This is my fourthe time there this year and quite frankly it keeps getting better. They have a very strong mangement supprted top down quality policy which really shows in their staff. The staff couldnt be more helpful and willing. The rooms particularly my faourite pool soide room 109 are just finctional clean and roomy. I literally have to cratch my head to come up with anu negative issues and I cant find any despite staying there over 4 weeks this year already. For family , business traveller, solo traveller and couples tjhis hotel is great value, greay loaction and best of all makes YOU the customer feel like you are the reason they are there... So many hotels have lost this.

Loads of variety for vegetarians

Hotel is located just at the end of the Walking Street which is an ideal place to stay. Selling point of the hotel is the second swimming pool which is located on the coast of beach, staff are very friendly and offered us complimentry fresh juice at least once per day. Breakfast is excellent and loads of variety for vegetarians.

I would reccomend this Hotel and would stay again

The hotel is spacious ,and celubrious, it feels like a four star hotel. The rooms are very clean and the hotel is well kept, the staff are freindly, the gym is quite well equiped, and the pool area is relaxed with shaded areas. There are safety deposit boxes free of charge, the hotel feels secure, yet there is an element of freedom and space . The restaurant facilities are good with a private area on the beach , I would reccomend this Hotel and would stay again.

Hotel looks great and the room are large and comfy

I stayed there for two days recently and really enjoyed my stay. Hotel looks great and the room are large and comfy. I was told that garden veiw rooms are of better quality that the Ocean view once. I stayed in Garden View. Staff are very friendly and th hotel is stratigically located in the corner of the night life (not in middle of it) just of the beach. Great swimming pools in the garden area and by the beach. Can't wait to go back and stay again.
