Skytrain

The BTS Skytrain system has alleviated the traffic congestion of central Bangkok and at Siam City, you are just across the road from Skytrain Phayathai Station. The Skytrain system is spotlessly clean; the trains run frequently (approx. every 5 minutes), is inexpensive and very easy to use.

Taxis
Taxis in Bangkok are abundant and a very cheap way to get around. All taxis have meters installed and bargaining is not necessary. Our porters are happy to arrange a taxi for you.

Note: You should avoid taxis that park in front of hotels and tourist attractions as they often want to take you to shopping places where they receive a commission. It is probably best to hail one that is driving past; the illuminated light, located at the bottom of the windscreen identifies vacant taxis.

Tuk Tuks
A fun way to get around although considered by some to be dangerous. You must bargain and agree on the rate before you get into the Tuk Tuk - they are ideal for short trips around town.

Buses
Whilst not the preferred transport of tourists, public buses are plentiful and cheap and will get you to most destinations in Bangkok. A Bus Route Map is a definite requirement to find your way through the city.
