About Siam
History
In 1972, the Chairman of Kamol Sukosol Company, Mr. Kamol Sukosol, acquired 20 acres plot of land in Pattaya and decided to build a hotel. Consequently, Siam Bayshore Resort was opened in 1975 and was fully completed in 1977. Under the guidance of his daughter, Mrs. Kamala Sukosol, president and managing director, the resort was soon recognized as one of Pattaya’s most distinctive and established properties. In 1983, Mrs. Sukosol built the Siam Bayview Hotel, also in Pattaya. Both hotels currently enjoy the reputation of being Pattaya’s preferred first-class properties by travel agents and individual travelers the world over.
Name
Formerly, Siam Bay Hotels, the hotel group consisted of two resort properties located in Pattaya: the Siam Bayshore Resort and the Siam Bayview Hotel. With the addition of Siam City Hotel in Bangkok in 1990, time came for a new corporate name. Hence, the establishment of Siam City Hotels & Resorts in 1992.

Siam City Hotels & Resorts is a member of Kamol Sukosol group of companies with interests in diversified businesses ranging form electrical and engineering equipment trade to insurance and real estate.

The Siam City Hotels & Resorts group is owned by Mrs. Kamala Sukosol, who is also its president and managing director. The hotels are managed by :
